Our little Nicholas is 6-months old.
I want to write that time has flown by, but in some ways I feel as though he has been a small baby for a very long time... Developmentally we are closer to 5-months these days. Still another tough aspect about having a preemie!
Nicholas has become a very social little guy. His brothers make him laugh and smile all day long-- there is no shortage of attention here! Nicholas also loves to roll around on the floor and grab everything in sight! Everything goes straight to his mouth and seems to soothe his teething gums (no pearly whites yet!)
Nicholas loves splashing in the bathtub, bouncing around in his new doorway jumper and enjoying the sights outdoors. His personality is mostly mellow, but if something does upset him BEWARE of this little man's temper!
He is happiest hanging out in a baby carrier with Mommy (though is also getting pretty heavy!) He weighs in at 17lbs 3oz, putting him at about the 15th percentile. This is pretty fantastic for a preemie!
