Our sweet Dominic has started his first season of sports! With Daddy as his coach, his team the "Lightning Crocodile Dinosaurs" are unstoppable soccer players!
My heart melts at how sweet they look in their big-boy uniforms.
The boys practice drills for about an hour on Saturday mornings, and then play a 20-minute scrimmage game with one of the other tiny teams. It makes for a cute introduction to the sport without too much commitment at such a young age!
Dominic loved his uniform and his gatorade (an after-game treat), but was it took a couple of weeks for him to understand friendly competition! He couldn't grasp why the other team kept trying to "take the ball" from him. Last week it clicked however, and he made his first little breakaway and scored his first goal! I was a proud "Soccer Mom"!
